The New York World's Fair records series contains eight subseries. The Attendance records subseries, 1964-1965 (0.4 cubic ft.), includes attendance reports for World's Fair and Ford Pavillion admissions in 1964 and daily Ford Pavillion attendance figures for 1965. The General Subject File subseries, 1962-1965 (2.8 cubic ft.), contains general administrative records arranged alphabetically by subject. The Operating Budget subseries, 1963-1965 (0.4 cubic ft.), includes correspondence, intra-company communications, and operating budget reports. The Previous Exhibits Subject File subseries, 1934-1962 (0.4 cubic ft.), contains audit reports, correspondence, exhibit specification reports, intra-company communications, photographs, and press releases regarding the 1933-1934 Century of Progress International Exposition; 1935-1936 California Pacific International Exposition; 1939-1940 New York World's Fair; 1959-1963 National Electric Week exhibit; 1961 U.S. Exposition of Science and Industry; 1962 Automotive Manufacturing Association National Automotive Show; and the 1962 California Museum of Science and Industry exhibit. The Specifications and Contracts subseries, 1960-1965 (1.2 cubic ft.), contains contracts, correspondence, intra-company communications, and purchase orders regarding companies hired by Ford Motor Company for the exhibit as well as exhibit specifications reports created by WED Enterprises, Inc. and Welton Becket and Associates. The Supplies and Design Consultants subseries, 1960-1965 (1.2 cubic ft.), contains solicitation correspondence and brochures from suppliers and design consultants promoting their services for the New York World's Fair exhibit. The Vehicle records subseries, 1963-1965 (0.8 cubic ft.), contains correspondence, invoices, purchase orders, and reports regarding Ford Motor Company vehicles on exhibit, and those used in the Magic Skyway ride. The Visual Materials subseries, 1964-1965 (0.8 cubic ft.), contains photographs, slides, and negatives of exterior and interior views of the Ford Pavillion, celebrities, exhibit staff, and automobiles used on the Magic Skyway ride at the World's Fair.
